well, election day has finally come! i am so proud to have voted today. in this historical election this year, i feel like we finally have a chance at experiencing a president that understands the plight of all americans. it is the first time african americans have someone to vote for that represents their culture, ideals, issues. this is going to make us a stronger and more unified nation. i have hope. we do need a change, and i believe it has come.
to celebrate this wonderful day, i decided to go to the zoo with my son. my friend and her daughter joined us. tuesdays are half price at our zoo. good thing!
